Fibroblasts contribute to lung fibrosis by expressing and producing large amounts of proinflammatory and profibrotic proteins. Eicosanoid-producing cells are usually associated with macrophages. Since mechanical forces play an important role in tissue homeostasis and repair, we hypothesized that they could modulate eicosanoid production in lung fibroblasts. To test this hypothesis, we first investigated whether mechanical forces have a direct effect on eicosanoid production. Indeed, cyclic tensile strain induced a transient increase of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) in human lung fibroblasts. Then, we investigated the effect of cyclic mechanical forces on IL-1beta production. We found that cyclic tensile strain increased IL-1beta production in human lung fibroblasts. Finally, we studied the effect of cyclic tensile strain on platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB-stimulated collagen expression in human lung fibroblasts. We observed that cyclic tensile strain enhanced PDGF-BB-induced type I collagen expression. Taken together, these results suggest that mechanical forces may modulate the inflammatory status of fibroblasts, by increasing their capacity to produce IL-1beta and modulating PDGF-BB-induced collagen expression.Q: How to restrict default message I have my own custom control for login and registration form. In my Control I have my own message property. I would like to display this message to the user when the control is displayed. But I want this message to be different from the default one. A: There is a property called DisplayAlertButtons which could help you do this. It accepts two possible values: DisplayAlertButtons.YesNo, which by default will be true, or DisplayAlertButtons.YesNoCancel which will be false. To display your own message, you'd need to change the default value of that property. However, when DisplayAlertButtons is set to YesNoCancel, the final string passed to MessageBox.Show(string) will not have the form "title text Cancel" in it, so it seems that you'll need to go
