A Citrus Christmas Cocktail

Updated: Mar 22

Australian Christmas' are hot. Family, heat and the oven blaring at 220 degrees all morning always calls for a refreshing drink. This cocktail is just that. Equal part refreshing, festive and delicious. The Remedy Blood Orange Switchel adds a perfect tart citrus note. Fear not my non Australians, if you can't find Blood Orange Switchel try adding kombucha and a squeeze of fresh blood orange juice.

What you will need

- Good quality gin

- Remedy Blood Orange Switchel OR Kombucha

- Elderflower Syrup (I use this one)

- Ice

- Fruit to garnish: limes, berries, mint - anything will work!

Quantity for One Drink

- 1 shot gin

- 1 shot elderflower syrup

- 3 ice cubes

- top with Remedy Blood Orange Switchel

Depending on the glassware you chose the strength of this drink will change. If you are after something strong and punchy opt for a smaller martini style glass, if you are easing into your Christmas pop it in a tumbler.

Enjoy!
